Power Mirror Conversion 700 1990

This can both apply to the new '90 740 GL wagon as well as my '87 740 GLE...

After a couple of weeks of deliberation, my family decided to adopt a new wagon. it's a beautiful white 740 GL, but with a few problems that needed some TLC. While we've solved most of them, one that remains is to replace the mirrors, both of which are damaged.

while doing this, I made the discovery that I actually have a pair of power mirrors on-hand right now, and am tempted to install them in the car. What I noticed, however, is that while there's a harness for the window switch with power mirror toggles in the door, there are no such connector for the mirrors themselves. I suspect that these connectors are actually in the car somewhere, but are bundled up with some additional wires under the dash.

Is this the case? I don't have wiring schematic anywhere, and do not think it would be wise to pull the dash just to find said harness. I may try to trace the connection if such can be done, but I'll see where that goes.
