I always worry if I put too much or too little tension on my drive belts. I found a very cheap tool to make sure the tension is actually correct. NAPA carries a belt tension tool for $11 . It comes with some suggested belt tensions to use, but Contitech recommends 40 Kg for the narrower Fan and Alt belts and 55 Kg for the wider AC belt.
