I tried to go out to lunch and my '83 240 Turbo wagon started bucking going up a hill by work ... followed by the clearly audible noise of my intank fuel pump. I turned around and came back to work.

Could I potentially still make it home (60mi commute,) or does that mean that the pump's failure is imminent and certain?
