Speedometer flicking at low speed to the 60 mph mark 900 1992

The car is a 92/960. The speedometer is flicking from a low speed to the 60 mph (100 km) mark. This only happen during the first part of driving every day and goes away after 4-7 miles of driving. If anyone had a similar experience, I will appreciate it if I can be guided to the possible source of the problem before I start taking things apart that may not be necessary.
