Distributor removed now no start 700

Help. I removed the distributor of my 89 740 wagon to replace the O-ring on the shaft and at the same time replaced the distributor cap and rotor. Now the car won't start, but cranks ok. Any suggestion what mistake I made to cause a no start condition.Thanks and god bless.
