Ball Joint Installation Question 200

I'm installing new Moog ball joints on our 93 245. The ball joints came with three new individual bolts with nuts and washers to fasten them to the A-arm. I kind of like the way the original ball joints were held to the A-arm on the outside end with the two studs through a heavy plate affair, both together as one piece. That looks really strong. Do you guys usually reuse that two-stud affair, or would you recommend using the new bolts that came with the Moog ball joints? The new ones say "10.9 BY" on them.
