79 240 dl will not start 200

Hello
First let me say how truly amazing this resource is for old volvo owner.
I've made my contribuition.

Now the ugly car is a recent aquisition. 1979 245 dl with b21f and k-jet

I know nothing about k-jet but the car will not start and i know I am not getting spark, as testing with the plug connector off and a long screwdriver trying to spark with the head cover.

not getting any voltage at the coil either so???
On k-jet what are the parameters necessary for there to be spark? icu? is there one? the car was working ok but then i just will not start.
