Will my 1989 230 f engine work in my 1993 940 turbo the 230FT engine? 900 1993

I have a low mile 1989 740 GLE WAGON that I want to take the engine from and put in my 1993 940 TURBO WAGON.....What is the difference between these two engines? Can I keep my turbo on the 93 940 or will I have to change everything over from 89 non tubo car???
