Gear Position Switch Replacement S90-V90

Just wanted to say thanks for the assistance regarding replacing the gear postion switch. The FAQ sheets were very informative both for the diagnosis and the repair. I was able to remove and replace the switch with the exhaust and cooling line in place; putting the gearshift in neutral permitted rotation of the switch housing until it cleared the cooling line. I also made use of the transmission flush instructions- worked very well and the car does drive more smoothly now (86,000 miles on 1998 V90). Great info- as one poster noted, there are no good shop manuals for this model.
