my "other" 240 black 1992 needed a boost so while trying to crank it the ALARM went offcompletelysurprising me as i just got the car about a month ago!
Anyway it worked fine, the alarm that is,and after figuring out how to turn that off,all was well, or so I thought. I got it running and now realize the
radio is on "codestatus"ihave a manual for a "wagon" w/ the code 2356 written in but I tried it and it didn't work. So I read the part where it says disconnect then retry it after 2 hours or so. This hasn't worked either. Did I fry the microprocessor or something. I can hear the radio which is stuck on EE now, very softly and not very clear, but it doesn't sound totally dead?!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Oh by the by, thanks to all who responded to my squealing belt problem. I think I got it under control. Needed tightening. I haven't addressed it as the weathers been awful here lately. Thanks again though. You guys are great!
