Okay, here's the deal, when I'm running my heater after the car warms up (on high with as cold as it's been) the fan speed goes up for awhile at the high speed that it's selected to and then suddenly drops to a lower speed and I'm not sure if it's still on as I can't hear it over the engine. It does this intermittently. About a year ago I changed the blower motor and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the resistor thing that's attached to the front of the motor duct housing. If so, then do I have to remove all of the stuff that I had to when replacing the blower motor? I think Volvo invented a heater blower motor and then decided to build a car around it. Those of you who have changed one of these will understand what I mean. Any ideas? Thanks
