Extra hose for Garrett turbo? 700

I was at the wreckers yesterday .. guy on the phone says he has the right turbo hose (AMM to turbo) I'm looking for. I get there and it's wrong—had the extra hose at bottom which I assume is for a Garrett turbo.

Question: What does this extra hose route to? It was something bolted to the front of engine.
