HOW COMPARABLE IS AN S90 TO A 960 S90-V90

I own a 1996 960 and have done most of the work on it myself. I'm looking at getting another 960 and I saw 1998 S90 that looks interesting. Does that have the same engine as the 960, is this an interfernce engine, and can I expect the same problems down the road, PNP, bad radiator etc. I'm going to try and do some more research on the board tonight but wanted to get this question out there.
