No power when warm 200 1983

I have an 83 244 turbo that starts and sems to run fine, but when it warms up there is no power after I reach about 45 mph on the freeway. If I hit the freeway before it's completely warmed up it's not nearly as sluggish. What should I be checking? TIA, Susan
