alright guys, i've cleaned out everything there is to clean out and i'm still getting that oily smoke. i've run the car through a full tank of gas with the atf in it. the engine runs great, so i'm forced to suspect the turbo. the car has 181K on the odometer and it has not been well taken care of by the previous owners. If i were to look for a replacement turbo that will be a direct bolt up what should i look for? Part numbers or what model cars share that kind of turbo? If all else fails does anyone know a reasonable place to have one rebuilt? I saw a post a while back about some place in texas maybe? I'd like to upgrade to a water cooled unit if possible and i've got an intercooler setup to add as well since my car was the plain old base model turbo for '83. Thanks for any input guys!
