Mann oil filter was pretty empty at last change 700

usually i will spill oil as a change the filter. but this last oil change the filter seems to be pretty empty. i turned it over and not much oil came out this time. the oil pressure light comes on for a few seconds at start up but turns off and never comes back on during drive. should i be worried?
