going to look at an 89 245 wagon after work today...any suggestions? 200

at what I should be looking for? I know to inspect for rust, but is there anyhting els ei should be looking for that could be detrimental? it has the aw70 or 71 tranny and only about 230,000kms on it (233 to be exact).

as I understand, these later ones are the ones with the improved rust protection, and better wiring harness. Unfortunately, there's no a/c in the car :(
