A question for those who know more than me:

Can I convert (machine) the standard 8v (or 16v) B230xx head to be a direct injection head?

From my research I found that the B18 and B30 had versions that were direct injection (Bosch D-Jet) those wouldn’t work for me because my attempt is to make a more fuel efficient car. Even if I could convert the mechanical to electronic injection I still have little interest in using a pushrod motor (the valves on my Porsche are enough to drive me nuts! Don’t need two cars that require perpetual valve adjustment!!)
