SC-815 bulbs

I have a 960 with the standard stereo. A few of the bulbs that light up the face are out. I took a peek behind there and they look like they are replaceable without a lot of hassle, but wanted to ask here if anyone has replaced them in their radio? They look like they are in tiny "twist-out" holders like other common dash bulbs ----BUT---- they appear to be removable only from -behind- the PC board they are on. AGGHH!! Finally: any source for these besides a Volvo dealer? I'm sure they want about $40 each for them!
