I made an unsuccesfull attempt to remove what could be an orginal fuel filter from a 1990 240. It didn't help that it started raining and I didn't have much room to get good leverage laying on my back. Also didn't want to stress the fuel lines and cause other problems so I drenched everything with PB blaster and called it a day. After I wrapped everything up I had a brain f##t and wonder why I didn't pull out the impact wrench. Just wondering if anyone has used and air gun to aid in the removal of some real stubborn fuel filter bolts. It seems like it should work but maybe I missing something here. Any other good sugestions also welcome.
