new lights, front end of sedan 200 1989

Hi all,

Three months ago I replaced the corner lenses with new plastic ones. Last week one fell off, the mounts actually broke on the assembly where it screws into.
I lost the lens, and cannot really screw on another one on that assembly.
Both assemblies are original and the reflector is faded, the headlamps are original, plastic, a bit faded, and one has a small crack.

I am debating whether or not to plunge into a complete new set. Volvo originals or true cibie lights are just too much $, so I am debating between the following options:

1.. Cheap fix, used flasher and a new lens to match the other side (50$), but likely the other one will break off too.
2.. Ebay: New plastic corner assemblies, and new plastic headlamp covers only (~120$) so the front 'looks' new.
3.. Ebay: New plastic euro-style corner assemblies, and new glass euro-style headlamp assemblies (~250$)

I have no issue with the 250$, as long as the products (likely made in china) are nice and fit properly. Has anyone had any experiences with these?

I replaced the tailamps with new ebay replacements three years ago and I am very happy with the results, granted the quality is low but the tailamps are still looking excellent and work perfectly.

Suggestions?
Thanks,
