steering rack replacement questions 200

I have a 1988 244 that has a power steering leak. I need to get under it and clarify wear it is comeing from. I'm afraid that it's comeing out of the right hand boot. If this is the case, I will want to repalce the rack. The qustion is what comapany the original rack, and wear should I buy it? While I'm replacing the rack, should I do things like ball joint, tie rod ends, etc, etc. The car its self is pristine, has 176,000 miles, and I have no intentions of ever selling it. Thanks for any information and happy bricking.
