240 intercooler questions 200

Hey,

I am collecting parts to put an intercooled turbo setup into my '92 244. The intercooler I usually see for sale is PN 1317319 (The one with the slightly wider top where it Y's for the hose connectors). These evidently came in 740s, and they look to me like the same unit that came in the intercooled 240s. Was this intercooler used in both 740s and 240s? Also, is this the correct unit to use for my '92 installantion?
