Squealing Belts 200

89 Volvo 240 with 220K miles. On initial cold start of the day or after the car has sat for awhile (ie cold), the belts will squeal very loud. Doesn't occur in idle, but just above idle and goes away after the first 3 minutes of driving. Is it just that the belt needs tightening or could it be the alternator or water pump? I tried the spray bottle trick, but couldn't find the source of the squeal. It is really loud, but goes away fairly quickly. Any thoughts?
