I am sorting out my "new" '97 V90 and today's task was investigating the lack of washer fluid going to the headlights. I clamped off the windshield hoes to direct all of the fluid to the headlights and found that the right headlight was getting fluid but the left was dry. I noticed that the connector that splits the main feed from the pump into the two smaller lines to the wipers was shooting a stream of fluid out a hole in the cap. I took the cap off and could see no reason for the hole, unless a ball and spring is missing and it is supposed to be a check valve. Anyone ever take one of these apart? Am I missing the guts?
