Swapped my fog headlight assembly for a no fog with the Volvo guy i know and 944 is now all done. Bought a good Die Hard in the junkyard for $10.00 and she fired right up. Reset the SRS light thanks to the FAQs. Had a 127 code which i was able to reset. Cleaned her all up, waxed the finish, cleaned and armoralled the inside and outside vinyl, shampooed the carpets, treated the leather seats and she looks beautiful....... Now just waiting to sell the girlfriends 89 244 with 170k on it and she will put the 944 on the road, nice upgrade for her. Everyone that sees the car can't get over the condition of it. One ? i have for the Board is, on startup i get kind of a high pitch whine out of the car for a couple of minutes then it goes away. I checked the water pump pulley and have no play in it, all the belts seem to be properly adjusted. Not sure what is causing this noise, anyone have any ideas/suggestions? TIA Tom 27940aholic
