Drivers side cloth seat in my '86 was pretty Saggy. So I took out the seat(2x nuts off front & 2x nuts in rear)and brought it inside. Turned it upside down. Found that springs had come off of thin wire grid work & grid work was no longer sound. So what i did was go to hardware store and I got metal turnbuckles. Now instead of springs going to useless thin wire grid they connect accross to each other via nice solid strong turnbuckles. How much one tightens these turnbuckles determines stiffness/softness of seat. Works really great. Thought others might want to know this trick/method.
