I went out from work to warm up my 780. 12 degrees outside, below zero with wind chill yesterday here in NH. I start the car and it idled high like normal at initial start up but for an extended period, and I didn't think anything of it and went back inside. When I came out I wondered if the car was even running, it was silent(the usual piston slap was gone), I get to the car and it is running at like 500 rpm ready to die and the check engine light was on, I reved it and the check engine light went out and it idled fine around 800 or so but the blue light around the AC snowflake was consistently flashing which it has never done before. I tried turning the button on and off but the light didn't stop flashing. That light stopped as soon as I shut the car down for the first time. What could the check engine light have been and is it some how related to the AC light flashing?? For a little extra info it hasn't done this since; the poor idle, the Engine light or the flashing AC light.
