240 head question 200 1986

I just aquired a used head for my junkyard 240. I have it mostly degreased and cleaned up. The camshaft has a bit of surface rust, should I swap out the one from my other head, It shows no sign of gasket failure. My other head did.

What watchouts should I keep an eye out for? And any other thoughts appreciated.
