Hey yall,
Ive been driving a good old trusty 1987 240 wagon for a number of years with no real substantial problems. I love the car, fantastic in all ways, but getting a little ragged. Any way, Im expecting a baby so I wanted something a little newer with more pickup umph and enhanced saftey features. I bought a 1997 960 wagon, thats loaded (a little strange to a boheme - bought it because its rear wheel drive - so as to avoid the 850s and other front wheels drives because we're do it your selfers, and those FWD's are difficult). This 960 is just so different from the 240. The look and feel says bourgouis, and that makes me nervous. Maybe thats just me, but anyhow I wanted to ask about experiences with the 960 wagons from year 1997. This one has ~150 k miles on it, the power steering pump needs seals, and the sunroof glass wont go back, otherwise everything looks tight and right.
Any comments on those repairs?
What should I know about this car folks?
Did i do ok with this?
I need some reassurance, because this seems like a big jump mechanically.
no?
thanks yall...hug
honey
