methods to check/adjust valve lash B30 140-160

I usually use the "Valve Rock" method as described in Haynes manual.
But is there a better way to adjust B30 valves?
I'm curios after reading the thread for B20's: "Valve Lash Revelations (really long) 140-160"

Thanks,
Wouter

Valve Rock method (Haynes)

Roll engine until intake and exhaust valves on #6 cylinder "rock" (exhaust closing, intake just opening), adjust both valves on #1 cylinder....and-so-on....
