Hello,

This is regarding a 1988 245 (173K) and I can't believe I'm asking this but here goes:

Is there something wrong with the starter if the it fires up the engine too quickly? I mean as soon as I turn the key, the car starts - like one or one-half "chut" til the VROOM (thanks Keith940) - even in colder weather.

Car runs fine normally and starts every time.
