Strut mount concerns 200 1993

I had posted this over on the IPD Swedespeed forum, but it looks like a dead forum (no response). Thought I check it out over here.

I purchased a set of strut mounts from IPD along with the TME lowering springs. I also have the Bilsteins, sways, and braces on the car.

Very shortly after installing the mounts the rubber began showing a bulge. I called IPD and was assured that it is quite normal.

Given all of the experiences with failing replacement mounts these days, I thought I would post a picture for comment just to be sure things are ok. The mounts shipped to me from IPD were manufactured by MTC.
