New Torque Rod Bushings Fit Loosely 200 1990

Paid $107 for four new torque rod bushings at the Volvo dealer because I wanted to take care of it while I had the rear end all torn apart, and because the ones I bought from Autohaus had lasted only two years.

Two of the new bushings pressed in nice and tight. The second pair can be pressed in (and out) with my fingers. All the Volvo bags have the same part number.

The previous set of bushings (the ones that lasted only two years) all pressed in and out tight.

Have any of you ever had this happen? How do I secure them in the ends of the torque rod? It seems unlikely that two of the Volvo bushings are actually smaller than the other two, but even less likely that the torque rod ends are larger on one rod, since I didn't notice it before. I doubt that the old bushings took that much rust and metal out with them when they were pressed out.
