leaking transmission fluid 200

My '88 240 (auto trans) has been leaking transmission fluid for a while. The exhaust does have white smoke once in a while...and if we leave it alone for a week or two there is a puddle of tranny fluid.

Anyways, I was just wondering if there is a sealant that I could use to plug the leak and if so which one would be the best. It is just a minor leak but I`m tired of buying a bottle of tranny fluid every few months.
