78 - 242 - B21A - source for carb damper ????? 200 1978

My son is driving the 78 242 - and the damper has "gone missing."

He swears the car runs fine - however - this is not my first rodeo!!!

I searched online - and am driven to ask - where is a source for the carb damper - or a carb damper rebuild kit??

The screw-in cap,rod/piston assembly is long gone - there has been dust and stuff getting into the top of the "pot" for a few weeks (We live 6 mile out of town on gravel)

So I cannot see everything staying 100% with dirt getting in there...


Any help is appreciated
