Car wont't start no pressure in fuel rail S90-V90

The car would not start for my aftewr driving it about 1/4mile. It will crank but first thing that struck me no gas (flooded) smell when I got there (she's not afraid to turn that key). When you turn the key you can hear the fuel pump whine, but when I check the fuel rail no pressure. Is there anything other than a failed fuel pump that might be creating this condition and or are there any steps that i can take to confirm that it is the fuel pump with out removing it first.

Thanks for any advise or experience you may have to share
