CAM ZF interchangeability 900

I have read on this board somewhere that it is possible to change the CAM rack with a ZF. Since the spare parts here are rather scarce and the ZF is supposedly better (tighter steering) I would like to try it out. What are the (possible) differences?

The car is 1991 940 Turbo sedan.

Any advice?
