I have a used CD changer and wiring (my '97 V90 was not pre-wired)and I am wondering if anyone has a scan of the installation instructions for a vertical mount so I can get an idea of what I need to fabricate. Dealer wants $119 for the bracket and wiring kit and I would rather weld my own at that price. Does the unit get mounted with the faceplate up (parallel to the street)? Does it matter to the function of the unit how it is mounted?

Would also like a basic owner's manual (although my Volvo manual has all the operating instructions).
