Lucas oil additive S90-V90

What do you all think about using the lucas oil treatment in my 960 with 130,000 miles. I don't want to switch to synthetic oil with this hig mileage in my car. I've been using chevron 10w-30 with mann or napa gold oil filters. About 10,000 miles ago I added slick 50 to the motor. Was this a bad move? I burn about a quart of oil every 2,000 miles.
