About to replace the front struts and rears and read some on the Monroe's over OEM. Car has 125K on it w/originals.
Do the Monroes give a softer ride then the originals? I DON"T want an american car ride--even though this car does have a tendancy to be that way--just don't want to add to that.
Second, is it necessary to change the upper mount and bearings AND should they be oem or are the aftermarkets OK? How does one tell if they need changing? OEM want $250 and so does Monroe, BUT aftermarket is $72 or so. Are these that much discounted or that poor of quality?
Lastly, how do you determine if the A Arm rear bushing need replacing? Thanks for all input.
