So my 85 244 sat for awile while I was away at school and now ive withdrawn and am preparing to make the trip from Nova Scotia Canada to British Columbia to try my luck on the oil patch. For obviouse reasons (sitting unused through the elements for some time) she wasnt running well when i first got back but after a good boost i had her going but later foudn out my battery couldnt even hold a charge for 10 minutes. I have replaced the battery, spark plugs and distributer cap which helped alot but am still having a hard time to get her started in the first place, she turns over but doesnt want to catch. my suspision is a fuel/injector problem but i dont have alot of experience with volvo's thus far so i am looking for some advice. also i have a problem where even after letting it warm up if i give it a shot of gas it will hesitate to the point of almost stalling or stalling. what could be causing this? what is my best course of action?
