Electrical boondiggle 200 1984

So, I was in the process of cleaning my oil seaparator and flame trap when my wrench touched the contacts on the starter and sent sparks flying. I disconnected the battery (something I should have done to begin with, obviously), and continued the work. When I reconnected the battery, the engine won't start, click, or turn over when the ignition is engaged. I checked all the wire connections and everything looks good. Main fuse is good. Any ideas?
