Inconsistent starting 900 1992

My 1992 940T most of the time starts just fine. Ocassionally, it will appear to have trouble starting. It kind of tries to catch but it can not. I let it sit for few minutes, and it will eventually start. Once it starts, it runs fine. No performance problems. I would like to figure this out before it refuses to start - period. Connections are clean. FPR new.
