Now the SRS light is off, but NOW something else is wrong 200

Yes I fixed the SRS light, but of course something else is wrong with my instrument cluster....AGAIN! (This is getting so irritating) So here I am, back AGAIN....When I went to the junkyard on Saturday, I picked up 2 instrument panel boards. (The boards that contain all of the warning lights, etc.) Now that I fixed all of the lights, I can get only ONE of the two lights that light up the instrument cluster to work. I figued "Hey, maybe one of the bulbs is dead." and I replaced it, but still no luck. So I kept on replacing the bulbs (5 of them), and still no light. I scratched my head in sheer bewilderment and thought "Well maybe that part of the panel is messed up, so let me put the other board in." Only now this time, it was the exact opposite! The light that was off, was now on, and the light that was on is now off. I did the same thing as before, replacing the bulbs, but still the same result. I then thought to myself "Well, all of the lights on the original board worked, so I'll just put that back in." But the result of this board was the same as what happened to the 1st board. So I decided to put the 1st board back in and keep it. My question is, what, oh what is wrong with the light panel now? Could this light problem have to do with the fact that I installed a tachometer, or (maybe) one of the wires running from that wire harness that plugs into the speedometer, etc. is not hooked up? Or could it be that my car is posessed? I don't know, but please oh please help me guys!
Oh I forgot to mention that I even ran 2 direct wires connecting the good bulb to the bad, and still nothing...This is crazzzyyyyyyyy!
