TO start. My volvo is a 2nd owner(me) 1987 245. She have apprx 140,000 miles. Since Purchase apprx 6 months. I have replaced,Oil(castrol/mann) Tranny flush. New Plugs/wires, Dist cap/rotor. New Air/fuel filters. New Rotors/pads Junction block(octopus) and Flushed Brake fluid. New Battery. Starts very well, gets apprx 24 highway mpg. Tires are good(one has a nail ,drove 180 miles each way no Prob)Have full sized spare.. Blocked air box thermostat. My indi volvo mech said everything looked ok. I have Full 280 + pc craftsman set, a 2 ton jack and stands. Several relays and an extra Ecu plus two extra Amm all three UN-tested.Tommorow is Half off at a the Local Pick a part. What parts should I scavage for my trip. (Ie belts /hoses relays etc...

Only known problem is for several months teh overdrive light slightly glows , it never disengages the Od and if I press the Od button a few times it disseapers. Also bumps sometimes affect it.



Basically. What should I bring in terms of Tools(all 280 pc ?) misc equipment Spare parts, I have Gps and a cell for emergencies. I am also of course bringing my Bentley Bible. I leave The 28th of this Month. I will be leaving at 2AM( another story) SO please Kim, these factors. Thanks in advance. I will Be traveling with Wife, and a semi mech inclined Friends.(not volvos though)
