940 Questions 900

I've been a 240 guy for the last 15 years and now that my '90 is starting to fail me, I'm looking at something different. I'm looking at a '92 940GLE and am wondering:

Are all 940 non turbos just a 940? I've read of both turbo and non-turbos being called GLEs.
Just what is the HP rating of the turbos?
How much common sheet metal with the 700 series? 960/S90s?
I've spent all weekend going through the 700/900 series FAQs, but is there any unmentioned common problems that plague these cars?
