Fuse Meltdown 700 1985

While checking here and there, I noticed the receptacle [on the fuse panel] that houses the fuse for the blower fan had melted around the the fuse. The fuse will not come out although the blower fan continues to work.....now what? I just discovered another sign of aging on Baby Blue, a 1985 740 GLE, 195K miles..
