Hard start in warm weather 200 1992

When the air temperature is below about 50 - 60 deg F, the engine cranks and fires immediately.Restarts after a short stop are no problem. Above 60 - 70 deg F the engine cranks and cranks and when it does fire the gas pedal needs to be tapped to keep the engine going. I have to back out of my parking spot and the engine will often stall while maneuvering. After about 30 seconds the engine runs normally. Restarts in warm weather are equally problematic. I am puzzled.
