Will theses 16in. rims work on 91 240 wagon?

Bought a set of 16in/7inw alloy rims of Ebay recently. Thought I was buying 15inchers. Silly me forgot to measure ... I beleave he said they where off a late 80's 740.
They have a 6in cap covering the lugs, with a similar volvo circular signiture found on 240 hub caps. Unlike the original hubs, the spokes are 3.5 inches long and slant back. I have not been able to match these rims, but they look to be original equipment. Does anyone know if they will work on a 91 240 wagon?
